Chapter 191
Avi walked in, Kirstie right behind him, and immediately walked over to Travis. Kirstie took Grace from Travis' arms, thanked him, and then took the bottle from his hands to do the job herself. Kevin walked in the house with both he and Todrick's luggage, only to immediately head upstairs. Jake walked over to say hello to Travis, as Alex rushed past both of them to hide in his room, Wyatt hot on his heels. Todrick closed the door behind all of them, and eyed Travis carefully from a safe distance. Avi walked into the kitchen, seeing Scott and Mitch making out, Mitch's back pressed to the counter with Scott's arms tightly around him. Avi rolled his eyes, and walked behind Scott to smack his ass, and continue over to the refrigerator. Scott's entire body flinched, as he pushed himself nearly a foot away from Mitch. He set his hand over his heart. "Fuck, Avi! You scared the--!" "You have a bedroom, Scott. Use it." "We weren't going to do anything. I'm allowed to kiss my Omega in whatever environment I choose to." Avi grabbed a bottle of water, and closed the refrigerator, turning to meet Scott's eyes. "Okay, please don't give me attitude. I'm tired. You two were on top of each other, was I seriously not supposed to assume you guys were four seconds away from fucking?" Mitch cringed, knowing Scott was going to be angry at his word choice. Scott took a step forward. "Excuse you? Say that to me again?" Mitch hurried to stand between them, his back to Scott. "I'm sorry, Alpha. He just doesn't like that word. He'd prefer you call it something nicer." Avi squinted a little at him. Mitch took a very small step back, pressing himself against Scott's body. "Um... I'm sorry that you're tired, Sir... You should get some rest...?" Avi nodded once, and walked past them. Scott put his arm between Avi and Mitch when he walked by, his eyes darkening as a threat. Avi didn't notice, truly too tired to care, and then he stood in front of Travis. "Alright. Fill me in on what happened." Mitch turned around in Scott's arms, just to kiss him a few more times, lighter than before. "You don't have to get upset. It's okay. You know how Avi can get sometimes." Kevin walked into the kitchen, his hands fumbling in front of himself as they always did when he was carefully selecting the words he would use. "Um.. Alpha?" Scott looked over Mitch's head to see him, and then stepped around Mitch. "Hey, Kev! I missed you." Kevin smiled at him, and took a hesitant step forward. "I missed you too, Alpha. Can... Can I just say? I'm so sorry about Willow. About that entire situation. And... I'm sorry I was so blind when you first joined our pack. I just assumed you were.. Insecure or something." "Don't blame yourself for that, Kevin. I chose not to tell anyone." "But... I'm supposed to be intelligent. I took as many classes as possible..." He scoffed at himself and looked down at the ground. "I'm supposed to be a 15. How can I possibly be a 15 when I couldn't even open my eyes enough to see another soul in pain? How selfish--?" Scott cut him off by hugging him, running his hands up and down Kevin's back. "Hey. Don't say that stuff about yourself. Your intelligence has nothing to do with your ability to read peoples' mind's. You respected my privacy, and for that I thank you. Please don't blame yourself." Kevin hugged him back, but frowned. "You don't think I'm a terrible person?" "Of course I don't." Scott moved away from him and smiled. "So, tell me about the camping trip!" **********
Todrick finally walked into Alex and Jake's room, knowing that's where Alex was hiding. Todrick peeked into the room, scanning it slowly. "Allie?" He took a few steps into the room and then knocked on the bathroom door. "Hey, Kirk?" Alex responded from somewhere behind Todrick. "Hi! How are you, T?" Todrick jumped at his enthusiastic voice, and turned quickly. "Oh! Hi.. What are you doing in here?" "Um... Nothing." "Al--" "That was a lie. I'm sorry." Todrick gave him a once over, and took a small step closer to him. "Are you hiding from Travis?" "Maybe... Are he and Jake getting along..?" "Yeah. Better than I expected, actually. I think they're talking about their favorite movies or something." "Oh good. Good..." Todrick reached forward and grabbed his hand, only to tug his arm and pull him out of the room.
