Chapter 159

Alex walked into the kitchen, but his greeting was interrupted when a little bit of soap flew his way. He watched it hit the ground and then looked up slowly. "Um. Whatcha doin'?" Kevin covered his mouth with a hand, but Todrick just started cracking up. Kevin looked over at him, all covered in soap, and then he was laughing too. Alex just stood there, hoping someone would give him some kind of explanation. But then, as he watched them double over in laughter, he too started laughing. ******* There was a loud knock at the door, and it went unheard in the busy house. Kirstin tapped on Avi's thigh, seeing as he had fallen asleep. "Alpha? Um. I'm sorry to bug you.. There's someone at the door." Avi grumbled back without opening his eyes. "Kevin'll get it..." There was another knock, louder this time. Kirstie tried to move out from under Avi's sleeping body. "I'm so sorry.. I don't think Kevin can hear it." Avi stood up slowly. "No. No it's fine. I've... I got it." He sleepily walked towards the door, rubbing one of his eyes. He peeked into the kitchen. "What the Hell.. Um. Kev, there's someone at the door." Kevin wiped some of the soap off his face. "I'm sorry, I'll get right on that." He dashed past Avi and ran to the door. Todrick waved at Avi after Kevin had gone. Avi pointed a finger at Todrick's soapy clothes. "So uh. Should I just pretend I didn't see anything?" Todrick laughed. "I guess if--" "Alpha!" Kevin called all of a sudden. Avi instantly turned at the urgency in Kevin's voice. He quickly walked to the front door, and slammed it shut as soon as he saw who it was. Avi locked it and turned around to push his back against it, staring at Kevin. "Oh God." Kevin nodded. "I know. I'll get the other Alphas." He turned and ran down the hall, then the Alphas outside the door knocked again. "Don't be like that! Those Omegas belong to us!" Avi shook his head in disbelief. This can't be happening. He shouted towards the kitchen. "Todrick, get all the Omegas and stay down the hall!" Todrick came out of the kitchen, giving him a confused look. But as soon as he saw how frantic Avi looked, he nodded and followed orders. He pushed Alex towards one of the bedrooms, and then grabbed Kirstin's wrist to pull her off the couch. Kirstie tried to look back at Avi. "What's going on?" Todrick just shook his head and pushed them both down the hall. Kevin came back, Scott and Travis running too. The Alphas pounded on the door behind Avi again. "You can't keep us from them!" Avi looked at Travis with wide eyes. Travis waved him over. "Open the door." Avi stood behind Travis as he pulled the door open. "Can we help you?" The tallest Alpha smiled at him. "We're just looking for our Omegas. We called ahead." Kevin just shook his head, while Travis smiled back. "Well, sorry to disappoint. But they aren't yours anymore. You lost that right when you abused them." The Alpha in the front of the pack spoke up. "We didn't abuse them. Is that what they told you? Ungrateful little things." The Alpha behind all of them nodded. "Take note. Must punish them when we get home." Avi growled. "You will do no such thing. They don't belong to you anymore. And they're both Marked now, so it wouldn't matter anyway." The Alpha who hadn't spoken yet took a step forward and glared at Avi. "Did you Mark my Mitch?" Scott put a hand on his chest to push him back a little. "No, but I did. That would be, my Mitch now." The tall Alpha then looked at Scott. "And Alex?" Travis held up his hand a little. "That would be me." "Do you guys still keep them on leashes? Because that helps, just so you know." Mitch walked into the hallway then, towel around his waist, freezing as soon as he saw his old pack. Todrick hadn't found him in the bathroom yet, and he had now walked into one of the worst situations possible. Scott smelled him immediately and flipped around. "Mitchell, go into whichever bedroom Todrick is in. Now."
