Chapter 110

The first thing Avi could think to do, was get Mitch the Hell out of there. Mitch was resisting him of course, but Avi managed to roughly pull him into the kitchen, and he met Kevin's eyes for a second. "Make him stay here." Kevin nodded, grabbing Mitch's wrist before Avi left. Avi turned to go back into the room, seeing Scott and Michael at each other's throats. It only took Scott a few seconds to get Michael on the ground. Avi ran over and dropped down to try and pull them apart. "Come on, you two! Knock that shit off!" Scott immediately tried to obey, and he jumped up to stand behind Avi. "Sorry." Michael wasn't going to give up that easily though. He stood back up and growled at Scott. "Come back here, you piece of shit." Avi put his hands on both of their chests to keep them apart. "No! Knock it off!" Unfortunately, he was basically setting himself up for failure since both of the other Alphas were nearly the same height. Michael shoved him roughly, sending Avi to the ground, before he came at Scott again. But Scott was seething, after seeing Avi fall down. He tried to help Avi, reaching a hand out to help him stand, but Michael grabbed him around the throat, and threw him down with a growl, his eyes red as well. Todrick finally came down the stairs, not being able to stand being oblivious to what was happening. He knew better than to get in the way of fighting Alphas, so he went into the kitchen to make sure everyone was okay. Kevin was distracted for one second, and that's all it took for Mitch to sneak away. Mitch wanted to be sure Scott was okay, but as soon as he got close enough, Avi's father approached him and growled. Scott's heart nearly stopped, Avi struggling to stand up as he'd discovered he'd hurt his leg somehow, although he tried to ignore it. Mitch's eyes widened in fear, as Michael grabbed Mitch around the throat and began to lift him off of his feet. "Who's laughing now, Mitchell?" Scott can honestly say that he doesn't quite remember what happened next. Something inside of him snapped, and then all he saw was red. When he came back to, Avi was helping Mitch stand back up, both of them staring at him with wide eyes. Scott then looked down, to see Avi's father on the ground near Scott's feet with a copious amount of blood pouring from his nose. Scott slowly backed away from him, panting heavily, his fists still clenched in anger. Kevin quickly emerged from the kitchen, Todrick right behind him, as they removed Michael from the house, Michael not fighting back because of how stunned he was that Scott had done that to him. Todrick slammed the door and locked it, letting out a sigh. Mitch didn't hesitate a moment longer, as he quickly moved to be in front of Scott, hugging him tightly. Scott hugged him back, although his touch was careful. So careful that Mitch could hardly even feel it. Jake was beside Avi in a heartbeat, speaking to him quietly to make sure he was okay.
