Chapter 186

Scott held Mitch's hand, while also holding Mitch's shoes in the other hand. Mitch was giggling, smiling and laughing the entire walk across the beach. Scott smiled at him a few times, but was otherwise quiet and emotionless. Mitch skipped along next to him, waving at Alphas when they waved to him. Scott squeezed his hand a little tighter every time, but kept his mouth shut. When they finally reached the bar, Scott had lost count of how many Alphas checked Mitch out on their way there. But Mitch remained perfectly oblivious. Scott opened the door and pushed Mitch through the semi crowded bar. An Alpha that was about Scott's height walked up to them then. Mitch immediately noticed the apron around his waist, and waved at him. The Alpha smiled. "Hello there. How can I help you two?" Scott reached around Mitch's body to shake the other blonde's hand. "My name is Scott. This is Mitch. We were sent here by two Alphas by the name of Ricky and Connor." "Oh alright. I'm Ross." Scott nodded. "Perfect. You're exactly who I'm looking for. I just had a question really quick.." Ross nodded and started to walk away, waving Scott to follow him. ******* Kevin and Todrick had moved away from the crowd, just standing on the beach where the sea meets the sand. Todrick took a small step forward to touch the water, but flinched away as if it was boiling. Kevin grabbed his hand and took a step forward. "Come on, T. I'll do it with you." Todrick nodded, and took a baby step closer to the water. "I don't know why I'm so afraid.." He mumbled. Kevin took another step. "Follow me, babe." He froze when he realized what he'd said, but Todrick didn't seem to notice. Todrick clung a little to Kevin's arm as their feet finally made contact with the water. Kevin kept his eyes trained on Todrick's face, searching for any signs of regret. Todrick took another step forward, all on his own, and Kevin followed him immediately. Kevin reached around and held Todrick's waist with one arm, and then used his other arm to hold Todrick's hand. "You doing okay, Toddy?" Todrick nodded slowly, and they moved forward again until the water was almost up to their knees. With both of them wearing shorts, their clothes stayed dry. Kevin continued to stare at Todrick. "Still doing alright?" "Yeah.. Hey. Can I tell you something?" Kevin nodded quickly. "Of course, T. Anything." Todrick nodded once, and finally met Kevin's eyes. "I.. I really like you, Kevin.." Kevin blinked at him a few times. He honestly thought he might be dreaming. Todrick pulled away a little. "Oh God.. I just ruined our friendship.. I'm sorry, Kev. I shouldn't have--" And right there, on that beach... Is where Kevin and Todrick had their first kiss. *******
