Scott set Mitch on his feet in an instant. "Want him back? That's impossible." Kevin came towards Kirstie. "Kirst, this is serious. Are you positive?" "Well no. Not like one hundred percent... But I think so." Mitch just stood, frozen in fear. Scott walked past Kirstie to find Avi. He went down the hall and found Avi in his room. Avi was still on the phone. "Absolutely not. He belongs to us now... Well if you hadn't treated him so poorly, I wouldn't have had to take him!" Scott tilted his head at him, as soon as he knew Avi could see him. Avi just huffed and pointed to the phone. Avi pinched the bridge of his nose between his fingers. "No, you don't understand. He has a new pack now. And he's Mated to an Alpha! You physically can't take him away from his Mate." Scott leaned against the doorframe, continuing to listen. Avi finally lost his patience. "Listen, he isn't yours anymore. You fucked up, and there aren't second chances for this sort of shit. So just leave him alone." And then he curtly hung up. Avi threw the phone on the bed as he stood. "Nothing to worry about. I took care of it." Scott stopped him from leaving the room. "It sure sounded like something to worry about. Are they going to show up here or something? Is Mitch in danger?" Avi shrugged. "I have no idea. I don't think so. There's no way they know where we live... Right?" Kevin tapped on Scott's shoulder then, who moved out of his way so that Avi could see him. Kevin shook his head sadly. "There have been a lot of newspaper articles and such about you guys defeating The First Alpha. Any of Mitch's Alphas could find him there. Track him somehow." Scott stood up a little straighter. There was no way someone was going to come in and steal his Mitchie out from under him. Scott just barely heard Mitch whine, and quickly turned on his heel to find him. Mitch was hugging Kirstie as hard as he could, while she tried to reassure him. Scott stood beside them. "You alright, Mitchie?" Mitch pulled away from his fellow Omega and shook his head. "No. I'm afraid." Scott hugged him then, but only for a moment. "You know I will never let anything happen to you." Mitch nodded. "I know.. Just. The thought of them getting out.. It makes me awful nervous." Scott opened his mouth to reply, but Avi ran in the room, Kevin close behind. Avi held the phone up for a second before speaking. "Travis called. He said one of your old Alphas showed up at his house looking for Alex. Luckily, since they only sent one Alpha, Travis took him down easily. But I think it would be safe if they came to stay with us for a little while. Is that okay with everyone?" Kevin and Scott nodded, but Mitch frowned. "Poor Allie.. I hope he's okay." Kevin gave Avi another nod. "The Omegas would probably be safer with a larger group of Alphas anyhow. But what about Todrick? Isn't he in that pack too?" Scott nodded at him. "Yeah he is. I don't know if we have that much space.." Kevin shrugged. "Here's a solution. You four can fit in a bed, can't you? Then Toddy and I can stay in one room, and Travis can stay with his Omega in another." Scott smirked at him when Avi confirmed his plan. Kevin squinted at Scott. "Why are you smiling like that..?" "You've already given him a nickname. How cute." Kevin shook his head at him. "Oh hush. It was Mitch's nickname for him first." Avi left the room to call Travis back, and Kirstin followed. Kevin decided to clean a little, because of their impending guests. Scott looked down at Mitch again. "Will you feel better if Alex is here?" Mitch shrugged and grabbed Scott's hand. "I just want everyone to be safe." "I know you do, Pumpkin. Don't worry. You know I'll protect you." Mitch gave Scott another hug. "I know. But.. Gosh. The things they did to me.. I don't want to have to think about it." "So don't. Don't think about it. Think about something else." Mitch pushed himself closer to Scott. "It's not that easy.. I still have bruises from it. Avi's mom found one on accident, even. Sometimes I think about my old pack when I don't even want to." Scott pulled back a little to stare into Mitch's eyes. "What do you mean? When?" Mitch blushed a little. "Well... When I think about my Heat.. Or just.. Making love in general... I get excited because I love you a lot. But they'll always be there in the back of my brain..." Scott's eyebrows knit together in confusion. "What? No. That's not possible. You lost your virginity to me. After that punishment, don't you remember?" Mitch shook his head sadly. "No. They... They made me do it... Before I even met you." Scott pulled away completely. "They raped you?!" Mitch tried to shush him. "Please calm down, Sir.." "Don't tell me to calm down! Why didn't you tell me they raped you?! That's a whole new level of abuse!" Mitch shrunk away a little. "I told Avi instead.. I should've told you.. I'm sorry.." Scott grabbed one of Mitch's arms so that he would look at him. "Did it happen more than once? Did it happen with more than one of them?" Mitch whimpered and tried to gently pull away, but Scott kept his grip firm. "Answer me, Omega!" Mitch flinched. "Yes! It happened more than once. It happened with all four of them, at different times. Well.. Wait. That's not exactly true.." Scott gripped his arm tighter. "More than one of them did it at a time?!" Mitch whimpered again, a little louder. "I didn't want to tell you, because I knew you'd get like this. You don't have to worry about this. Avi put me in counseling, and I think everything is okay now.. Don't you see? You can't protect me from what already happened, so just. Please calm down." Scott released Mitch's arm and turned away from him. "Oh my God, Mitch. I didn't know it was that bad." Avi came into the kitchen then. "Why are you shouting? Jesus, I can hear you all the way down the hall." Scott walked up to him then, toe to toe. "Why didn't you tell me he was raped? That seems like pretty important information, don't you think?"
