Chapter 14 Surprise

Julia ran her hand through her hair and sighed deeply... "I'm sure they are actively searching for me right now; I will always be grateful for your help, but being around me could put you in danger, and I feel guilty about it..." She continued, but Damon wasn't afraid of being in danger... the danger wasn't something he was new to... he was much more concerned about her... she must have felt really bad to have been betrayed like that... "I think I can decide on my own if I want to be in danger or not..." Damon responded... she opened her mouth to try to give him more reasons why he shouldn't help her but no words came out of her mouth... "Okay, how about you stay here for a few days then..." Damon suggested... if she agreed then they could have a talk again then... that was fair enough... He was expecting her to be more adamant about leaving, but she nodded slowly...
