Chapter 27 Disappointed

"Carl Carson..." Julia muttered under her breath as she read the file Gladys had given to her... it was a file that contained all the information about damon's family... it only contained a few information about each of them, like their picture and who they were... but it was information enough for her... it was a hassle to learn every single thing about a family that she wouldn't be married into for long... she just had to get through the wedding and then try her possible best to avoid the scenario where she had to meet them... "Juan Carson... his cousin... they look nothing alike..." Julia muttered and twitched her tongue... Damon looked nothing like both his cousins... even though they were his first cousin... well, it could happen, she thought... she continued to go through the file but saw nothing about his parents... Didn't she have to meet them? what would she say to them if she had no idea who they were or what they looked like... she sighed deeply and continued to read... she would ask Gladys about that later... Julia continued to read but stopped when she got a particular person... "Melissa Carson..." She read the name out loud... just fron staring at the picture alone, she swallowed.. the older woman looked Patrician as h*ll... she had a stoic look on her face... her hair was styled neatly and she was dressed in really expensive clothes... the woman was his grandmother... His partanal grandmother... Julia didn't know why, but she had a feeling this stoic looking grandmother was someone she had to look out for... she didn't look warm and cosy like the older woman she had met. Instead, she looked like someone she would definitely avoid and wouldn't dare to cross... she raised her hand and sighed at the goosebumps she was getting just by staring at a picture.... she sighed deeply and closed the file... her head was hot already... why couldn't Damon come and tell her about this himself... why did she have to learn about his family from a file... she couldn't even ask him who she should and shouldn't avoid... everything felt frustrating, but julia had to remind herself that it was because of him that she could sleep every night in such a cosy place..
