Placing his arm behind her knees, Asher scooped lily into his arms bridal style and walked away to her hospital room while she sobbed away on his shoulders. He laid her gently on the bed, covered her up, then began patting her hair as he flicked the tears away from her eyes and her cheeks. “Everything is going to be okay, Lily,” he whispered with a smile on his face, “I am going to find our baby, no matter what it takes. I’ll find her and I’ll bring her back to us.”
