Lily and Asher went to another restaurant and had their breakfast there, and Lily took that opportunity to tell Asher everything she had discussed with Mrs Darby, Gloria. A big smile stretched across Asher's face at the news, and he wanted to tell her how proud he was of her. Instead, he cleared his throat and raised his glass of juice, "Congratulations on securing such a deal. It's one that doesn't come easy." The grin on Lily's face widened, and she raised her glass as well. They both clinked it together, before taking a sip and setting it down. "Also, thank you very much for securing an invite to that dinner party. It'll give me an opportunity to finalize the deal with Mr Darby, we already went over some of the important details earlier this morning. I was misinformed about him rejecting the deal."
