Lily's heart sank into her stomach, and her eyes seemed to go blurry as the room and everyone in it seemed to spin. The taste in her mouth turned sour and she found it incredibly hard to swallow as she processed what she just heard while completely forgetting about the fact that she came here in the first place to thank him for saving her life.
