Asher stood by the window, looking out to the view of New York City. Seeing Lily today was painful, so painful it has dulled his senses to do any work. His fingers brushed against his phone in his pocket, and the urge to call Lily overwhelmed him. He immediately took his hands out and balled them into fists. This situation was the last thing he wanted but it was necessary. When he walked into the house of that asswipe, Morgan, all he wanted to do was pummel him to the ground with his fists, but he had suppressed his urge and kept a smile on his face. Talking to him casually about his gratefulness about the divorce and his new quest on getting married to his rightful wife, Charlotte, like he didn't want to shoot him dead was the second most difficult thing he had done in his life.
