Chapter 32

Lily watched Asher leave the house with a mix of emotions, and a number of questions swirling in her mind. Where on Earth was he going? Was he trying to give her space because of what transpired between them a while ago?... What even happened? She sighed heavily when she heard the car drive out of the house, and she turned on her heels and marched back to her room only to be greeted with the sight of the collectibles on the bed. Her eyes flicked to the clock and it was quarter to 9.All the Helps should be asleep by now, and she can't possibly move all of this to his room alone. She sighed, her shoulders sagging as she dragged her feet to the side of the bed, hoping to find a space she could just lie in and sleep for the night, but there was none.
