The first few moments of their hangout were extremely awkward and tiring for them both. Their breakfast passed by hurriedly, it was almost a blur in Lily's mind now that she thought about it, she barely remembers what she had for breakfast. They both barely said more than a few words to each other, and now they were seated in the car which despite its vastness felt suffocating to Lily because it was filled with nothing but silence and awkwardness. Clearing her throat. she decided to be the bigger person and put an end to the suffocating silence by striking up a conversation despite the fact that Asher looked like he couldn't care less about the awkwardness as he has been buried in his phone ever since their breakfast ended. "So..." she started, but Asher barely raised his head as he hummed in response. "Are you going to tell me where we are going?"
