Chapter 29 Misunderstanding

"Mad," Julia muttered under her breath and almost scoffed... not at him but herself because of the question she asked.. was she really mad at him... she did infact feel mad, but why would she be mad at him... asking herself that question only seemed to increase the anger that was bubbling in her, and she hated herself for it because she knew she had no right to be mad at him... did he even wonder what she had been up to this past few days? The thought popped up in her mind, and Julia immediately moved this thought to the back of her mind... Why should he? He had his own life, and she had hers... he let her stay at his place for free, well not for free anymore... he had an ulterior motive and she agreed to this motive, but it still didn't change the fact that they weren't close enough for her to he mad at him, they barely even knew each other two weeks and in those two weeks she had only seen him a few times... " No, I'm not mad... what right do I have to be? " She said in a low voice, and Damon let out a deep sigh. The expression on her face said otherwise... she had a deep frown on her face that made him nervous... "Would you mind letting go of my hand? I have to use the bathroom..." Julia said, her eyes trailing to her hand that Damon was still holding on to... Damon immediately released her hand, and Julia didn't waste a single second before sprinting away, while Damon stood there staring at her as she did... Was she really mad? Did something happen while he wasn't at the apartment... he was sure nothing had happened. John would have informed him if something happened... she also had her phone with her... she would have called or sent him a message if she wanted to speak to him...
