Chapter 23 Nasty Temper

The deep frown, which was on Damon's face, disappeared as soon as he walked out the door... he let out a really deep sigh and nodded towards the man who was standing close to the door before he walked off towards the elevator... he felt a pang in his heart as he waited for the elevator door to open, but he shook it off... No, he did the right thing... he couldn't think he was; what if she started to act up because of his nice? All he wanted with her was strictly business; he had to make sure she was aware of that... He couldn't trust her so easily... trusting people never went well for him... The elevator door opened, and Damon stepped into it... the cold frown from before had returned, but this time, his eyes were filled with determination of what he wanted to achieve. He wasn't going to let his silly emotions derail his plans... As he walked towards the parking lot, he could already imagine his plans working out exactly as he had planned... everything had to go well... his car was waiting for him already with John in the front ready to take him to wherever he was headed...
