Chapter 53 Starting Over

Miracle looked at herself in the mirror with a frustrated expression. Her body felt so sore. Spending almost an hour in the bathroom had exhausted her. How could it not? The intense lovemaking had left Miracle completely drained. It was annoying how Mateo kept asking for more and more. She wondered what was going through her husband's mind. Maybe the three days they hadn't seen each other had made him feel starved. Mateo stood at the doorway, watching Miracle as she got ready. A smile formed on Mateo's lips as he saw his wife's pouting face. He approached her and hugged her from behind, planting a kiss on her shoulder.
