Chapter 71 The Alpha's Fury

Ashina had made sure to not spend too much time in her bath, which usually made her overstay, owing to the comfort it provided. Before that, she also made sure to get out of bed early, even before Jasmine, her human alarm, had the chance to wake her. She tried on different kirtles, wondering which was best for the day. As she took off the short-sleeved, pink one and tossed it to the ground due to its tightness around her abdomen, she let out a sigh. It had begun to seem like she was expending all the time she had saved during her other activities on getting dressed. She was certain Juan was going to be knocking at any minute now, and she had promised she was going to be ready when he was. Next up, she picked out a frock from her huge closet, which was home to hundreds of dresses. She held the red frock of light cotton up and intently studied it. The last thing she wanted was to put it on and then see she had to take it off again. Seeing that it was pretty loose, she decided to get herself into it. She had no idea how strenuous the day was going to be, so she needed something she could properly breathe in.
