Chapter 64 Ashina's Frustration

About a week had passed since the Arthenish Luna left the kingdom of Scyta with her legion and dignitaries, back to her kingdom, Arthenis. The hype which had resulted from the union between the Scytan Prince and the Arthenish Princess had begun to die down. The omegas of both kingdoms now lived in peace as they anticipated so much better from the union. The whole time, Princess Ashina and Prince Juan had been occupied with their duties. King Roy's condition had been stabilized, but he remained in his room, out of sight just to be safe. It was the morning of a new day, and the sun shone brightly. Juan, who was outside the palace, was headed to the gates of the dungeon. Two warriors guarded him, and one of them held an umbrella of fur and wood over his head to hide him from the blinding sunlight. Positioned at the gate of the dungeon was a wagon with a single horse attached to it. Juan headed towards it, and one of the warriors by his side rushed forward to get the Watson's door open so he could get in. Juan was not alone inside. Sitting beside him was Morticia, the prisoner. Juan examined her. She no longer smelled like her own waste, as she did in her cell. Just as he had requested, she had been cleaned. Also, just as he had requested, she had been clothed in a black cloak and its hood covered her head. Her ankles and wrists were also bound in chains.
