Dr Morgan shook her head, "She was attacked in human form and by more than one wolf. By the marks on her body I'd say there were five or six wolves who did this to her, plus she's weak." My eyes flickered to Jude who kept his head bowed. "She's exhausted; all her vitals are low so she doesn't have the strength to heal like she normally would." She looked away from me and continued to speak to Jude. "Your mother's in bad health and if she was to be attacked again this savagely, she might not survive it." The truth sucked a hiss breath from him. Maybe now he would see this wasn't something he can keep a secret.
