"He had his chance!" I couldn't believe, of all people, it was Richard who was speaking like a modern day Shakespeare. "Yeah he's a player, but I would have forgiven that, hell I would have forgiven him if he had apologized and told me he made a mistake when he rejected me, but he didn't." The whimper of my wolf had me clutching at my chest. "He humiliated me and continued to hurt me. He didn't care and what he said today proves that he still doesn't. He doesn't want or love me, he just tired of feeling his wolf's need for mine and he wanted a release from it." The words tumbled from my lips before I had a chance to stop them. Eyes wide, I gaped at Richard hoping my slip up hadn't been noticed. I never told him that Adan had rejected me. When we left the house Richard cancelled training, telling Jaxson he had been called back to the house by my father. He hadn't of course, but there was no way in hell I was about to tell Jaxson that Adan's wolf had made an appearance and begged me for sex. That was a sure way to make this situation even worse than it already was.
