Shrugging, I let my fingers trail from the soft skin of her hips down her wrists and to her hands where I laced my fingers through hers, not missing for a second how good it felt. Pulling her gently I moved us back over to the couch. "Hear me out, okay?" I said, hoping she couldn't hear the silent begs inside of me. "Just give me one chance." Right at that moment I wasn't sure whether she was going to listen or punch me in the face. She didn't say anything and neither did I. We just sat staring at each other as if this was the first time we had ever met. I guess in a way it was. "Why did you..?" She trailed off, catching her lip between her teeth and biting down on it softly. At that moment I wanted to do exactly the same to her soft, plump lip.
