Chapter 54

I jutted my claws in her chest when I was a foot in the air, her powers suddenly leaving her. I dropped onto her, my weight causing the air to leave her lungs as my claws were still in her chest. I twisted them, before pulling them out and looking at her dead eyes. "For the daughter you should've treated better," A slice down her arm, my wolf howling at the revenge for his mate. "For the pain you caused your own flesh and blood." A slice along her cheek, my canines extending. I wanted to rip her throats out right here, but she deserved to suffer. "For the love of my life, and the fact she had your goddamn genes." I clawed slowly trough her throat, watching as her mouth filled with her blood. She grinned at me slowly, her teeth covered in her blood. She lifted herself up as close to me as she could, her dead eyes gleaming at she spoke to me. "She has my genes, and so will your children." She grinned as her heart stopped below me, a disgusting grin on her face as she died. Even as I removed myself from her, she was grinning. It was awful, disturbing, something I hope Emilia would never see. I looked up just to see Jarred staring at me, before glancing back at Emilias mother and darting to the house. I growled as I began to run after him, before I was tackled by two other wolves. I fell down a hill, the wolves below me and we tumbled to a field where most of the fighting was going on. I growled as I ripped one of the wolves throats out, the other latching on my hide. I growled as I ripped it off, blood falling off of my hide as I ripped into the wolf. I roared out into the field as I began ripping through each wolf, blood and dead bodies seeming to fly everywhere. This pack was no match for us, and when they finally realized that some stood down. They shifted into their human forms and bowed down in submission, and I let them. My fight wasn't with their pack, but the Alpha that led them to their doom. I growled at the remaining fighting wolves when the wind blew, bringing with me a smell I had missed so much. I spun around and saw her, my beauty, my love, my mate. ***
