Chapter 48

The dining room is filled with pack members that are talking and eating with each other. I grab the spoon, bringing some chicken soup to my mouth. I pour the liquid down my throat and a warm and soothing feeling fills me. I bring the spoon once again towards my mouth and I almost drop it when I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn my head around and my eyes lock with his forest green ones. I shrug his hand off my shoulder and I think he gets it. I return to my bowl of greatness, but I can still feel his presence behind me, looking down at me.
