Alpha Simon stood there, a wide grin on his face, his body towering over all of us as he eyed the group of women as though we were something delicious that he would like to eat. The gamma, motioned to us all, his men gathering behind him. One had a doctor’s coat, I realized, his medical bag in hand as he waited for instructions.
