Chapter 44

I began to button up my shirt with shaking hands. My whole body remained aroused as Charisma slowly began to climb off of me, her hair cascading loosely down her shoulders. That hair of hers, I shook my head. It was glorious and magnificent to behold, but in stark contrast to her usual black and red hair. Those big blue eyes were also different, causing her to look softer, more vulnerable and less like the Charisma I knew. I glanced sideways at my mate, looking at how flushed her face was and how pink her cheeks were. Her hair was slightly dishevelled now, and her dress was crinkled. She looked as though we had just made love and there was no denying it. I coughed, drawing her attention back to me. “They’re going to know what we did?” I growled, questioning her even though part of me didn’t care.
