ELIAS'S P.O.V They say you don't hit the lowest until all other options are exhausted. For me, I may not be out of all other options, but I have never felt worse than I do right now. How could my cards play out this way? I lost my father. Then he returned with no memory. I finally got the girl of my dreams for one night. To find out that one night cursed my life for death. Then the cherry on top of it all was learning that my father's memories had been restored. We weren't sure how much time I had left and that was what bugged me most. How was any of this fair?
