EZRA'S P.O.V I rushed around, making sure that with all of us leaving it wouldn't affect the safety of Elias. I ensured that he was protected in many ways. I had my guards on high alert with Tanner guarding him personally. I also had Helena cast a spell to protect him with her magic. Then, to be extra cautious, I ensured that he and my mother were in the safe room before I left. Luckily, the safe room was completely stocked with everything that either of them could need, and I didn't plan on being gone long. But, I couldn't take the chance of a sneak attack on my Kingdom so that Iblis could take my son while I was trying to get Tegan back. I had to make sure he was safe before rescuing his mom.
