ELIAS'S P.O.V I had been digging into research involving my condition. I just wanted more answers, not so much for a way out. It was clear that there wasn't a way out unless an innocent child died, or I returned the curse to Zola. Neither is an option. I was more or less looking for the answers as to how long I had until that day I would die. There were things that I needed to get set in place for after I departed from this realm. Such as, who would be taking over ruling the kingdom in my stead. I had to train them efficiently so they would know how to not only be an Alpha but also be the King of our kind. It was something I had trained for since I could walk and talk. I wasn't sure how much time I had, but I knew that preparation for the next King was essential. If Shanti was pregnant with a male, the Kingdom would eventually be handed over to him. But seeing how I couldn't find her to know the gender of our child, I was forced to find an alternative solution. At least until my child was located.
