Chapter 16 Finding Answers

JUSTIN'S POV I was walking past Eliana’s room when I heard something like a sound. It was faint at first and I wanted to dismiss it as a sound of her maybe doing something but then it grew louder and I recognized the sound of a gasp then immediately followed by sharp intake of breath. I slowed my steps and came to complete stop when after that it was a sound that almost resembled a scream.
