Chapter 23 In The Enemy's Den

ELIANA'S POV My eyes were barely peeling open when I tried to open them and my body felt so heavy like it had been dumped into a river and allowed to soak all the water in it. Finally, I managed to open my eyes and I blinked a few times, trying to clear my sight, and slowly took in my surroundings. The room was unfamiliar. The walls were a soft shade of cream, and there was a large window with sheer curtains letting in just enough light for me to see.
