Chapter 3 Crazy Fans
Five years ago, Arissa was betrayed by her father. She lost her virginity and gave birth to quintuplets nine months later.
However, one of the children was taken by bad guys!
She and the remaining four children were abandoned in a desolate, uninhabited area, struggling for survival ...
Five years later, Arissa arrived at Dellmoor International Airport with the four surviving children.
Arissa took a deep breath of the familiar air, her eyes hidden behind sunglasses glinting with a sharp light as she scanned the bustling crowd.
Dellmoor, I am back.
She was going to find the child she had lost and take revenge on those who had wronged her!
Arissa glanced at Jasper, who had almost been lost right after they landed in the country, and handed him the cotton candies she had just bought.
"Here, Jasper. Choose one."
The cotton candy came in various colors. Gavin picked a blue one and cheerfully said, "Thank you, Mommy!"
"Why are you being so polite with Mommy, huh?" Arissa was momentarily surprised, then gently ruffled the little one's hair.
Zachary looked at "Jasper" with a puzzled expression.
Jasper never liked blue; he always preferred green.
So why did he pick the blue one?
However, seeing Gavin's satisfied smile, Zachary wasn't completely sure if the boy before him was Jasper anymore.
When Gavin smiled, he looked just like Jasper, with that familiar smile.
Still, Zachary's doubts weren't entirely gone. He still felt something was different about Jasper. As he pulled his suitcase, he leaned in closer to Gavin.
He continued probing, "What's up with your clothes?"
Gavin noticed the suspicion on his face. He put on a confused expression and deliberately said, "I like this shirt, so I swapped it with someone!"
Gavin noticed the three boys' clothes were of the same style. The only difference was the different cartoon pictures.
Arissa saw Zachary approaching Jasper and immediately said, "One cotton candy for each person. You'll all get one."
Soon, the children all had cotton candy.
Jesse bit into his cotton candy and immediately got half of it all over his little face. "It's so delicious!"
Oliver saw his little brother looking so cute and laughed out loud. "Jesse, your face is all white!"
"Eat slowly!" Arissa chuckled, wiped Jesse's face clean, and led them toward the exit.
The four little boys walked hand in hand with Arissa.
Zachary was still questioning Gavin, "Where's your hat?"
Their hats and clothes were part of a matching set, but now Gavin was the only one not wearing a hat.
"The other kid liked my hat, so I gave it to him! Otherwise, he wouldn't trade clothes with me!"
Gavin took a bite of his cotton candy, a look of satisfaction spreading across his face. His demeanor wasn't much different from Jasper's, but in his mind, he was speculating about the whereabouts of the Jasper he had exchanged places with.
His sudden disappearance should have caused panic among the bodyguards. However, since the airport seemed peaceful, it meant ...
The bodyguards must have mistaken the real Jasper for him and taken Jasper home.
Since the real Jasper wouldn't be in any danger, he decided to take Jasper's place for now!
He wanted to find out if this mommy was truly his biological mother.
If she was, why had she taken the other four of them but left him with Daddy, who had replaced her with a bad mommy?
The bad mommy at home was absolutely unbearable ...
"Touch my face. See? I'm not a fake!" Gavin leaned in closer, offering his face to dispel Zachary's doubts.
Zachary stared at him for a moment, wondering if he'd been overthinking things.
There couldn't possibly be another child who looked so much like them.
Besides, their clothes—and even their shoes—were identical. It couldn't just be a coincidence.
He had to be their brother.
As he studied Gavin's familiar little face, Zachary's suspicions began to fade.
Straightening up, he put on a stern expression to assert his authority as the eldest brother. "We agreed you'd come straight back after buying what you needed, but instead, you ran off and made us worry. Don't do it again, or I'll deal with you myself!"
Being scolded like that was a first for Gavin. He froze. Back home, he was always the one doing the scolding—except when it came to his daddy, Benjamin.
At that moment, cheers erupted from the other side of the airport.
"Danna, Danna!"
"Danna! Ahh, my Danna is the most beautiful goddess!"
Arissa glanced sideways and saw a group of overly enthusiastic fans crowding around the exit to greet a celebrity.
"Those crazy fans! They even knocked over our luggage just now and didn't apologize!" Jesse huffed angrily, his childish voice carrying an adorable fierceness. Among the four little ones, his voice was the highest-pitched, almost girlish.
"I'd like to see which celebrity makes them act like lunatics!" Zachary scoffed.
"Are any of you hurt?" Arissa asked, startled. If the children hadn't said anything, she wouldn't have realized the fans had bumped into them.
"No, they just knocked over our suitcase and ran off!" Zachary grumbled, glaring in the direction of the commotion.
"How rude! I'm going to teach them a lesson!" Oliver said impulsively, ready to march over and confront the crazed fans.
Arissa quickly grabbed the fiery little boy. "Come back."
Gavin's little face remained tense as he glared at the crowd of fans with disdain.
"Mommy, can we leave now? These people are so irritating!"
The person those frantic fans were eagerly waiting for happened to be the woman he hated most.
Since he had now found someone who might be his real mom, he didn't want to risk running into that woman and being recognized.
"Alright, let's head out," Arissa said. She had no interest in watching celebrities, so she gathered the children and hurried them toward the exit.
Gavin glanced toward the Rolls-Royce and vaguely saw a child inside. He breathed a sigh of relief.
As expected, the real "Jasper" had been mistaken for him and taken away.
"Mommy, there are too many people here. Let's go that way!" Fearing the bodyguards might recognize him, Gavin grabbed Arissa's hand and guided her toward another side.
Arissa watched as he led her into an even more crowded area and couldn't help but feel amused. "Jasper, there are more people over there!"
"It's not that many! It's easier to catch a cab over there," Gavin replied with a forced smile.
Arissa noticed a taxi in the direction he was pointing and started walking toward it with the other three children.
At that moment, a tall figure emerged from the exit and walked toward a Rolls-Royce, surrounded by bodyguards.
His features were stunning, and even with dark sunglasses on, his noble and imposing aura couldn't be hidden.
His appearance caused quite a stir, as many people turned to look at him in admiration.
