Chapter 55

Elaine POV's I ran towards Damien immediately and thankfully, Kai was already with him, even though there wasn't so much he could do for him. The dagger was still in his chest and though he had lost a lot of blood, he was still doing all he could to stay breathing. Kai himself had severe injuries he wasn't healing from and he looked pale and almost as if he was fighting everything in him to stay awake too. This was the time I needed cordelia the most.
