Elaine's POV Cordelia slept on the chair while trying to soothe me to sleep, and even though she had an exhausting day herself, she didn't push her comfortability as much as I wanted it for her. I left the bed because I couldn't sleep, and I still couldn't keep my focus off Damien and Kai, especially now that I was carrying Damien’s child. Peace was far-fetched from me, and maybe I wasn't complaining because it seemed to be my punishment for choosing to do what I did to them.
