Chapter 45

I didn't get enough from Elaine's reply, and even though my gut was so strong on something going on between her and Damien, I still felt the need to give the two adults space. However, the silence from both ends was killing me, and because I had promised to respect Elaine's wish, I had to get through to Damien. I wasn't sure whether or not he was going to be around, but I just decided to try visiting him at his home. Before that, I decided to check up on Elaine, at least to hear from Cordelia about her, and to my greatest joy, I was thankful that she was feeling better from Cordelia’s report.
