Elaine's POV The fact that I couldn't even catch up to Kai when he left Damien's place was both a big slap to my training sessions and also the scariest thing I've seen in a while. It was almost as if he was running out of our lives and had no plans of returning. Seeing that I had lost track of him already, I returned to Cordelia as she was my only source of comfort at the time. However, to my dismay, she wasn't in sight.
