After Cordelia had left to arrange some things she had left unkempt on her counter, she returned to remind me that Kai came in the time I left for his place. She decided to suspend telling me about my bloodline as she insisted that my head be cleared to a certain extent before hearing the truth. She was never far from the truth. Finally getting to see and speak to Kai tore me apart in unspeakable ways. I didn't know if what happened with him was right, but it was surely the only thing I could do in that case to make sure I was sane. At least for now, I needed a break from all the men and drama in my life.
