She was back again, in his office with her legs kicked up as she relaxed. This time, Isabella even brought a snack along with her as she read. She kept flipping through page after page, finding herself immersed in Mason’s intriguing timeline. There was a particular journal entry that she had read, she found Samantha’s surname, but it didn’t tally with the Samantha’s that worked with him, so she hopped off the whole matter. She popped popcorn into her mouth as she kept on flipping the dusty pages. She also realized that she was slowly losing herself. It had been a while since she had drawn or painted. But then again, was it even right to blame herself?
