Chapter 12 A Mysterious Note

Isabella rushed out of the bedroom with tears in her eyes. She felt so stupid, so pathetic to think that someone like Mason would ever believe her. She felt so lightheaded and her head was banging. As she moved to sit under the veranda in the garden, she bumped into a hard chest. Ed looked down at her, her eyes were puffy and swollen. Mascara-stained tears were running down her face, and she sniffled as her bottom lip quivered.
