Chapter 23 Awakening In Confusion

“She’s waking up already,” Ed said as he looked down at Isabella in the hospital bed. Her skin was pale and her long hair was a mess, scattered all around her. Her cracked lips looked a bit purple, but nothing too alarming. Isabella could hear a faint beeping sound in the distance. Was it her alarm? But she didn’t have one. All of a sudden, she felt so self-conscious and the bed felt harder than usual, she groaned as she fluttered her eyes open.
