Chapter 92

It's a beautiful cold evening. Helen is sitting on the bench in the usual park as she stares into space. She has been having so many thoughts rushing through her mind lately. Taking a deep breath, she rubs her hand slowly on her stomach as a drop of tears slid down her cheeks. As much as she knows that what she's doing is not right, and she may end up regretting it, thinking of the pain her child will go through in the future, she has no choice but to do what she has to do. She knows that Jeff doesn't love her, she knows that she's hurting her best friend with her actions, but what is she supposed to do? She has to be blamed for this, and after that, the blame goes to her dad for luring her into this mess in the first place. This is not what she wanted to do with her life, but it seems like fate has already messed with her.
