Chapter 42

Tears trickle down her cheeks as she sits on the edge of her bed and rests her chin in her palms as she stares into space, reminiscing on what her dad had told her earlier. It all happened fifteen years and eight months ago. That day she had gone out to play with her friend, and she met this little boy that was quite older than her. She liked him and found him cool at first sight and she was the one that made friends with him. Not long after she became best of friends with him, she heard that he had an accident and was hospitalized. She was traumatized for a whole month especially when she never got to see him. That was the last time she saw him. For the past fifteen years, she has been waiting for him with every day that passes by with the hope of him showing up in front of her one day and prophesying love to her. Yes, she has been in love with him and has turned down many guys because of him.
