Chapter 12

Initially, I thought we were going to leave the next day, but it has been three days already and it doesn't look like we're going to leave her anytime soon. Aside from Jeffrey giving me a hard time, his dad has been a thorn in my flesh. The man doesn't like me, and he makes his hatred for me so obvious. He tells me every time how much he hates me and wants me out of his son's life. If only he knows that I hate this marriage the more, I'm sure she would do anything to get me out of it. Jeffrey is the last man on earth I would never wish for my enemy to date, let alone get married to him. That's how much of a horrible man he is. For these few days I've spent with him, I've come to know that he doesn't care about other people, he only cares about himself and if there's anyone else that he shows little love and respect to, then I'd say that it's his mom. His sister and kid are not here, so I wouldn't know how much love he has for them. As for his dad, I don't know what transpired between them, but he seems not to have had a good relationship with his dad right from childhood. I shouldn't even try mentioning Alex, because that's the person he hates most, and won't hesitate to hurt for no reason.
