Kaiza's heart raced as darkness engulfed him completely. He had been here before, in this choking environment where nothing made sense and each step further descended into a chasm ready to swallow him whole. This time, however, it was different. He was not alone.
Mina. Nevertheless, he felt her in him, yet he could not perceive her face. It's a narrow and weak line that glows like extinguished stars in perpetual night. This is where one would feel it: the terror and confusion, combined with the most severe pain and suffering. All within his chest convulses with each of his beats, reminding him of what was to occur.
