Chapter 6 The Richest Guy in Lenoville
Up ahead, there had been a minor accident. A Chevrolet Spark had rear-ended a Mercedes-Benz.
The Chevrolet's driver looked like he was about to pass out, frozen in his seat with fear. Getting out of the car wasn't even an option for him right now.
Behind the Mercedes-Benz was a convoy that instantly drew attention.
At the front were four sleek black Mercedes-Benz cars, followed by a Lincoln stretch limousine in the center, with seven Cadillac SUVs bringing up the rear.
It was a lineup that clearly didn't belong to just anyone.
"Who could it be?" Ingrid muttered, her brows furrowing.
The convoy came to a stop, and the doors began to open. Men in sharp suits and sunglasses stepped out one after another, their sheer presence enough to make the Chevrolet driver shrink even further into his seat.
Then, the rear window of the Lincoln limousine rolled down, revealing a square-faced, middle-aged man in an impeccable suit.
Ingrid's stomach dropped. Levi Carter.
Head of the Carter family, Levi wasn't just a big deal; he was the deal in Lenoville. One word from him could shake the entire city. Compared to the Carters, the Miller family was barely a blip on the radar.
"What's going on here?" Levi asked, his voice sharp and to the point.
"Sir, the lead car was rear-ended," one of his men replied, bowing slightly.
Levi's eyes narrowed. "Handle it. Pay whatever they need, and get the car out of the way. If we're late and the Dragon Healer gets upset, you're all finished. Got it?"
"Understood!" The man snapped to attention and rushed forward to deal with the situation.
The Chevrolet Spark driver, who looked like he had been seconds from crying, instantly perked up at the mention of compensation.
Nodding and smiling nervously, he moved his car aside and got out, bowing like his life depended on it as the convoy continued on.
"Dragon Healer?" Ingrid muttered under her breath.
When did such a big shot come to Carter family? Why did he need the head of the Carter family family to personally welcome him?

"Mom, what did Ingrid say?" Eric mumbled through his split lip, his hand clutching a tissue against it.
"Don't worry, sweetheart," Hilda cooed. "She wants you to stay at the hospital for now, and she'll come to see you soon. She also said she'd make sure you get the justice you deserve!"
"Good!" Eric hissed, fury flashing in his eyes. "This time, I want Alexei ruined. I want that loser to suffer, to lose everything. He won't have a shred of respect left in Lenoville by the time I'm done!"
"Ouch!" he yelped suddenly, the pain from his injuries cutting through his rage.
"Let's get you to the hospital," Hilda said quickly, reaching out to help him.
Before she could move, Frida stepped in with a sly grin. "Wait, Maam. Maybe we shouldnt leave just yet."
Hilda paused, frowning. "What are you talking about?"
Frida leaned closer, lowering her voice. "If we take a few expensive things from the house and blame Alexei for stealing, it'll be the final nail in his coffin.
"Ingrid will see his true colors and won't give him a second thought."
Hilda's face lit up. "That's brilliant! If we pull this off, that trash will be out of the picture for good. Frida, you're smarter than I gave you credit for!"
"You're a genius," Eric muttered through gritted teeth, forcing a weak thumbs-up.
With this calculated move, they were ready to push Alexei into a corner he couldn't escape.

At the gates of Daneo Bay Estate, Alexei stood quietly, a single box in his hands.
His eyes lingered on the place he had called home for three years. The memories were vivid yet distant, like a chapter in a book he'd already finished reading.
But there was no bitterness in him. He had done what was right, and that was enough.
A faint rumble of engines broke the silence. Moments later, a convoy of luxury cars pulled up to the estate.
The car doors opened, and a group of guys in suits stepped out, forming a neat line without a word. They stood tall, clearly well-trained.
In perfect unison, they bowed to Alexei and said, "Welcome, Dragon Healer!"
Their voices were so in sync that it felt like the whole place shook with the sound.
The residents and property managers of Daneo Bay Estate froze in shock, exchanging nervous glances as murmurs rippled through the crowd.
Alexei remained unfazed. His expression was calm, almost indifferent, as if none of this grandeur mattered to him.
Then the Lincoln stretch limousine door opened, and out stepped Levi.
"Who's that?" someone whispered.
"That guy? He's gotta be the head of the Carter family, right?"
"The Carter family? Who's that?"
"Seriously? Levi Carter, the richest guy in Lenoville!"
"Wait, why would someone like him show up here?"
