Emma paced through the kitchen nervously, her unsteady steps echoing off the floorboards. Fearful that at any moment she might trip over her own feet and fall. Asher placed himself in front of her so that she wouldn't have a chance to turn around and calm down. At least he didn't look any better, and he seemed nervous as well. He couldn't stay in the same spot for too long; he started walking around the kitchen, making annoying noises by snapping his fingers.
