"What do I have to listen to?!" Asher yelled, his voice hardened by the pressure Emma put on him. "That you're a witch?! I just found out!" It was a nightmare. Not only did he have to fight against the enormous force that held him to the wall, but he also had to fight against the protective instincts of his wolf. He had never had problems with his half-wolf side; they had always been one, complementing each other. But since Emma's arrival, it felt like two different individuals living in the same body.
