Asher had spent the rest of the night outside his house, wandering his entire territory to calm his nerves. In all the years he had lived under Endora's curse, never had it weighed on him as much as this night, not to be able to run away from that place. He couldn't stay in his home with his mate only a few feet away. Not after almost losing his mind again. If Emma hadn't started to remind him of how they got into this situation and about their injuries, he wouldn't have cared that he still carried traces of what had happened on his body. He would take her to the bed because that was what he wished for... only to regret it later.
