Chapter 11 Lessons Learned
Zhou Qing looked resentful and continued to provoke, "Why are you in such a rush? Are you hurrying off to have an affair, pretending to be innocent in the hospital every day? You are truly shameless."
These words were extremely disrespectful, and anyone with a bit of sense could see that it was slander.
However, there were still some people who smirked.
Sun Xinfang, naturally proud, could not tolerate it. She turned to leave.
Ye Fei grabbed her arm and said earnestly, "Director Sun, we can't allow such shameless individuals to spread lies."
"Hmph!"
Sun Xinfang snorted coldly, displaying disdain on her face. "There's no point in engaging with such shameless people. The truth will prove my innocence."
Ye Fei was speechless and regarded her as if she were foolish.
What kind of world is this?
Rumors are indeed frightening!
Observing the lecherous gazes around them, if they did not clarify, by tomorrow morning, even the smallest details of their alleged affair would be circulating everywhere.
Ye Fei maneuvered through the crowd. Zhou Qing, who was about to unleash a tirade, recoiled in fear upon seeing him, as if a mouse had encountered a cat.
"You were so eager to curse earlier, why the sudden silence?" Ye Fei inquired with a smile, narrowing his eyes.
Zhou Qing's neck tensed, sneering, "Why should I fear cursing? I witnessed the two of you engaging in an affair in the office with my own eyes, do you still deny it?"
"Stop spreading lies."
Ye Fei sneered, his fingers moving swiftly, poking him on the forehead, saying calmly, "Since you have no use for your eyes, then live as a blind man from now on."
The onlookers appeared puzzled. Suddenly, Zhou Qing let out a scream of agony, covering his eyes with both hands.
"I... I can't see anything, return my eyes to me!"
He wildly flailed his arms, causing the surrounding people to retreat in fear, afraid of being struck by him.
In an instant, a large area cleared out, Zhou Qing danced around like a madman, resembling a lunatic completely.
Sun Xinfang tugged at Ye Fei's clothes, whispering, "Stay away from this lunatic so we won't be falsely accused later."
Before she could finish her sentence, Zhou Qing hysterically shouted, "This scoundrel blinded me, everyone saw it clearly, please testify for me, I'm going to sue him!"
Sun Xinfang frowned, coldly stating, "You suddenly fell ill on your own, what does that have to do with us? Stop trying to frame and harm us!"
"You, this despicable woman, are still defending him?"
Zhou Qing was furious, charging towards the source of the voice.
Sun Xinfang's face paled, but Ye Fei could not allow him to act arrogantly, so he kicked Zhou Qing in the stomach.
"Since you insist on spreading lies, I believe I must silence you." Ye Fei's eyes turned cold as he pointed a finger, sending a chilling wind into Zhou Qing's throat.
Zhou Qing attempted to scream but found himself unable to produce a sound.
Blindness and muteness.
He was trapped in darkness, a deep fear gripping his heart.
As Zhou Qing contemplated his future, he grew more terrified. He dared not speak nonsense anymore, kneeling on the ground and repeatedly bowing in the direction he faced.
Thud, thud, thud!
Zhou Qing's forehead struck the ground, emitting a dull sound, blood trickling down, presenting a terrifying yet pitiful sight.
Sun Xinfang's heart softened, sighing, "Despite his annoyance, he was truly frightened this time. I doubt he will dare to cause trouble in the future. Spare him."
A doctor's compassion.
Sun Xinfang, who had spent years saving lives on the brink of death, may have appeared cold on the outside, but she possessed a naturally compassionate heart.
Ye Fei gestured twice, causing Zhou Qing to shudder before brightening up. He refocused his eyes, cleared his throat, and began shouting again.
"Go away!"
Ye Fei's gaze narrowed. "If you dare to spread rumors again, I will deal with you."
Terrified, Zhou Qing wet himself, unable to utter another word as he crawled away.
Onlookers gazed at Ye Fei with awe.
Nonchalantly, Ye Fei hopped on his electric bike with Sun Xinfang and rode off, leaving a lasting impression on everyone.
Their journey attracted numerous glances, turning heads of many men.
Sun Xinfang, with her striking appearance, demeanor, and style, stood out.
A goddess like her didn't belong in a BMW, so how did she end up on an electric scooter?
Ye Fei chose a familiar roadside stall.
"Uncle Wang, two bowls of wonton, extra green onions, no cilantro!" Ye Fei greeted habitually.
The stall owner smiled kindly and brought over two large bowls.
As they sat down, Sun Xinfang thanked Ye Fei for his help.
"No need to thank me."
Ye Fei waved his hand casually. "Such scum should be dealt with by everyone. I just did a small favor. After this incident, he won't dare to act arrogantly again."
Recalling Zhou Qing's embarrassing moment, Sun Xinfang shook her head and chuckled.
He probably won't bother her for the rest of his life.
As they chatted, two steaming bowls of wonton and meat-filled buns were served.
Ye Fei, hungry from a long day, eagerly dug in. The aroma of the wonton was irresistible.
While Sun Xinfang was also hungry, she ate more delicately. After a bite, she praised, "This wonton is delicious, much better than the one I had at the restaurant."
Ye Fei agreed, "The best flavors are found at small food stalls, not in fancy restaurants."
After finishing half a bowl, Sun Xinfang excused herself to the restroom.
As Ye Fei continued eating, Uncle Wang, the stall owner, commented, "You're lucky to have such a beautiful girlfriend. Cherish her."
Ye Fei's expression darkened. "We're just colleagues. We had a late night at work, so we came out to eat together."
Uncle Wang scoffed, "A beautiful girl like her, dining with you late at night. If you don't make a move, I'll lose respect for you."
