Amelia I watched them from across the fire-lit chamber, those three women. Bella, Eugene, and Lilia, sharing a house near the edge of the main residence. They were inseparable, always laughing and teasing, their friendship apparent in the easy way they touched each other’s arms and shoulders, and talked. It got on my nerves to the point I could sense my wolf’s relentless instincts raging.
