My cousin's pink lips curl into a wicked smirk, his dark eyes dancing with mischief as he watches me from his seat at the kitchen table. Instead of commenting, he slowly lifts a steaming cup to his mouth, eyes flickering over to the coffee brewer. Taking a moment to calm the pumping adrenaline rushing through my body, I lean heavily against the cool counter for a second before pouring myself a cup. "You scared the hell out of me," I inform him accusingly as I grab a bowl and pour some cereal into it.
